Krisztina Sándor

I studied at Babes-Bolyai University in Kolozsvár (2009-2016), where I obtained an MsC degree in biology, specialized in terrestrial ecology. My master thesis was a comparative analysis on the structure of flight feathers of European bird species.
In 2013-2016 I also participated in several projects for the Romanian Ornithological Society. These were natural conservation projects in which I was monitoring birds in artificial nest box colonies, and I surveyed the bird fauna in many different habitat types ranging from forests to cities.
Here, at the Ornithology Research Group my research interest is how habitat urbanization affects birds’ feather structure.
