PhD student
I graduated as a biologist at Eötvös Loránd University, Savaria University Centre in Szombathely in 2020. There I wrote my BSc thesis on “The Spider Fauna of Our Wetlands.”
I obtained my MSc degree also at Eötvös Loránd University, but in Budapest, at the Institute of Biology between 2021 and 2024. I wrote my MSc thesis on “Analysis of Behavioural Networks in Zoo-Housed African Penguins (Spheniscus demersus).” During this period, I also earned an MSc degree in biology education at the Budapest Campus of Eötvös Loránd University.
I have been observing the captive population of African penguins (Spheniscus demersus) at the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden since July 2022. I collect behavioural data on the penguins. I have also studied the social behaviour of Madagascar hissing cockroaches (Gromphadorhina portentosa) at the same zoo.
